Visual Inspection:
We begin by inspecting the servo motor for visible issues such as burn marks, corrosion, fractures, or loose connections that might indicate underlying problems. Feedback Cover Evaluation: Remove the feedback cover carefully and perform electrical tests to ensure it can safely be powered. Disconnect the feedback to inspect the motor windings without causing any damage. Motor Winding Tests: Utilize an advanced AWA analyzer to conduct tests like megger, high potential, resistance balance, and surge testing to detect issues within the motor windings. Magnet Testing: For motors with magnets, perform KE or voltage constant tests to confirm proper functionality and alignment. Machining & Component Replacement: Address mechanical issues such as worn shafts or keyways and replace parts like bearings, seals, or journals to restore optimal performance. Feedback Testing: Test feedback devices such as encoders, resolvers, or tachometers using precision tools, repairing or replacing faulty components as necessary. |
